How to Answer Difficult Questions in Job Interview? Use the Seek-And-Reply Technique

By Damen Choy No matter how well you have prepared for your interview, chances are you would be confronted with questions you don’t know how to answer. In this case, don’t get nervous. You have to accept that you are not invincible. And sometimes it might just be a trick your interviewers use to test how you respond to difficult and tough questions on the spot. They want to observe your behaviour under embarrassing and difficult situations. Use the Seek-And-Reply technique. It allows you to Understand more clearly the interviewers’ question. Gain rapport with your interviewers and engage them in your presentation Take control of your answer presentation to achieve your desired performance How to use the Seek-And-Reply technique? Whenever you encounter a question that you don’t know how to answer, follow the procedures: Think of the best PRELIMINARY answer to the question Break down your PRELIMINARY answer into 2 to 3 points. Begin your answer by using diplomatic language like a politician. For example, “I DO NOT HAVE THE COMPLETE PICTURE BUT I DO THINK…..”, “AS FAR AS I CAN FIGURE IT OUT”, “TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE”, “IF I DO NOT UNDERSTAND YOU FULLY, I HOPE I CAN ANSWER IT IN THIS WAY……” Here is a demonstration: I do not have the “COMPLETE PICTURE”, so “to the best of my UNDERSTANDING AND COMPREHENSION”, I would like to express my opinion herein as…………………………………… Then you can go on to explain the first point of your PRELIMINARY answer. Make a short pause after point one and ask the interviewers: “CAN YOU FOLLOW WHAT I AM SAYING?” “AM I IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION?” “DO YOU HAVE ANY COMMENTS SO FAR?” You are now passing the “turn” to the interviewers. They are “guided” by you to provide further information and the “answers” in their mind. Your strategy is to dig out what is in their mind when they are asking the difficult question. So give your fair “share” of the answer and ask them for their “share” as well. Repeat the above procedures for point 2 and 3 of your preliminary answer. Of course, you can quickly adapt your answers to the information they contribute under your guidance. Now you know how to answer difficult questions by using Seek-And-Reply technique. Seek their minds before your Reply to their questions. Use this technique to take control of a job interview. The Rubber Tired Backhoe Loader

By Robert Short Also referred to as simply a backhoe, the backhoe loader is a construction and excavation machine that consists of a tractor, front shovel and bucket and a small backhoe on the rear end. Due to the small size and versatility, backhoe loaders are common on small construction projects and are used for most small excavation type work. The rubber tires allow the backhoe to drive on grass and fragile ground coverings without causing too much damage. The first backhoe loader was originally invented over 150 years ago in Burlington Iowa. The backhoe loader is the most common variation of the classic farm tractor. As the name implies, it has a loader bucket assembly on the front and a backhoe attachment on the back. Anytime the loader bucket and backhoe are attached to the machine it is no longer referred to as a tractor, as it is not normally used for towing and doesn’t normally have a PTO or a power take-off unit. When the backhoe is permanently attached, the machine has a seat that can swivel to the rear to face the backhoe controls. Many types of removable backhoe attachments will sometimes have a separate seat on the attachment itself. Backhoe loaders are common and can be used for many tasks, which include construction, light transportation of materials, powering building equipment, digging holes, excavating, breaking asphalt, and even paving roads. The front assembly on a backhoe may be either removable or permanently attached. You can often replace the backhoe bucket with other tools such as a breaker for breaking or smashing concrete and rock, a post hole auger or even a fence post driver. In order to mount different attachments to the loader, it must be equipped with a tool coupler. The coupler consists of two hydraulic cylinders on the end of the arm assembly, which can expand and retract to allow different tools to be attached to the unit. There are also some loader buckets that offer a retractable bottom also known as a clam bucket that opens and closes, which enables the bucket to empty the load more quickly and efficiently. The retractable bottom loader buckets are often times used for grading and smoothing off sand. There are several types of backhoe loader brands, including New Holland, John Deere, Case and Caterpillar. Some will offer you cabs that will keep the operator warm, cool and or dry, while others won’t. The newer types of backhoe loaders even offer you air conditioning, radios, and other accessories that make you feel like you are working in a luxury automobile. Common with excavating jobs, the backhoe is very versatile and can serve many different purposes. It can even haul or raise equipment and supplies in the loader bucket. Another great use is to cover up dirt when filling in trench lines or covering up pipe that was just put in the ground. The backhoe attachment at the rear is ideal for digging trenches for water pipes and sewer pipes. The best thing about the backhoe loader is the fact that it is very easy to operate. You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to fully operate this nifty piece of equipment. 2007 Affordable Concrete Cutting Massachusetts MA, All rights reserved! Medical Health Care Information – Preventing Hospital Infections

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Wayne_Clark] Wayne Clark Hospital spread infections are on the rise. There are many reasons for this ever increasing epidemic, and it is going to be up to each one of us to protect ourselves. Let’s face it, many hospitals are under staffed, making it harder for the nurses and doctors to perform all of their duties in a safe and practical manner. Sure, you will always have those that do not perform their duties to the fullest making neglect another reason it is imperative that you take charge of your healthcare. You need to have some say so in how your treatments are managed, especially when mistakes could cripple or even kill you or your loved one. The Centers For Disease Control reports that 2,000,000 patients will be affected by hospital spread infections. The sad part is that over 90,000 will die. You go to the hospital to get well not to get sick. Awareness of the problem is the key to defending yourself. Once you are aware, then you need to act. Act by gaining knowledge on how to protect yourself or your loved ones. You must know the basic methods for maintaining the proper care of your I.V. It all starts with proper hygiene. Proper handwashing is mandatory if we are to fight these infections. Do not, let any one at all come into your hospital room without first washing their hands. This must be done with an alcohol based cleanser or one approved by the hospital, and hands need to be washed for at least 30 seconds. This may sound like unnecessary precautions, but if it will keep you from extra days in the hospital or crippling side effects, it is worth it. Did I mention that you must take charge? Do not go to the hospital and feel intimidated. Who pays if you get an infection that makes you miss work, keeps you away from your family, keeps you from getting on with your life? You do, your employer does, your family suffers, insurance companies will raise rates to make up for the extra expenses, which means we all pay in the long run. Make your I.V. your lifeline not your deathline. Sterile technique must be used before and I.V. is installed and anytime it is accessed. Have your doctors and nurses write in your chart to use sterile techniques. Hang signs on your door telling all who enter to wash their hands first. These are very simple measures to insure that you get in, get out, get on with your life. Take charge now before it is too late. Your actions may reduce pain and suffering, and most of all may save a life. Arm yourself with the necessary weapons needed to fight infections. Discover how to help your child through the traumatic experience of getting an I.V. Learn how to take charge and have some say so in your health treatment. You have been made aware of a serious problem, how will you react? React now to avoid becoming a victim. Fight back do not lay down. Stand your ground, do not let infections ruin your life. My name is Wayne Clark and the information we provide is based on experience. We have spent many days in hospitals fighting the effects of Cystic Fibrosis. The Best Of Times

By Terry Weber There has never been a better time to realize that if money could talk to you, it would say: Good bye! There has never been a better timeto realize that it is the financial failure that pays all of his bills and living costs first and then tries to tithe and save out of what is left. There has never been a better timeto control the misuse of credit cards because they are a major contributor to our present financial problems. There has never been a better timeto understand that prosperity can only be achieved when we become obedient stewards of the money God entrusts to our care. Our first step in obedience is to demonstrate our faith in God by returning to Him 10% right off the top of our gross income. There has never been a better timeto grasp the concept, the idea, that you cannot save by buying — and that the planning and management of money is more important than the money itself. There has never been a better timeto understand you can succeed as a money manager if you will prayerfully maintain a sincere desire, over a long period of time to achieve the goals of your money plan. Part of your money plan must include a plan to get out of debt. It may take as long as 18 months to 3 years to accomplish this, but it can and must be done! There has never been a better timeto pray and ask God to help you become a better manager (steward) of the money He provides for you and your family. If you dont know where to start consider this: there are over 2,000 instructions about money management in your Bible. All of them were put there to help you. Then as you follow those instructions, one-by-one, one day at a time, you can be assured and absolutely certain of this: your future will be the best of times! Terry L. Let’s call these new activities – Killer Applications. Can you see that losing weight is more than just going to help you with your health care? In fact can you see how losing weight will allow you to save money. Yes, you can save money on your health insurance obviously, but you can also save money by being able to fit into all your old clothes again too. Can you see why being thin has many killer applications? Your Own Perfume Made Easy

By Sheila Hensen The act of creating is always a fun, enjoyable and creative task. It is also a fulfilling effort that one can do alone or with friends. Making a personal perfume is actually a very easy and entertaining chore especially if the perfume you are making is meant for your own use, for your family, or as a gift for friends. Of course, the journey is always better than the destination and the experience of making a perfume brings confidence and a fulfillment that is unparalleled. How to make a perfume right in your own home Believe it or not, there are a lot of instructions available in the internet that would provide sufficient knowledge in making your own perfume. What is more important is that you know what you want and you know what you need in order to make a perfume that works for you. Know what you want to make First things first, what kind and type of perfume do you want to smell in yourself or to the one you are planning to give it to. The various kinds of perfume you can make are concentrates, eau de cologne, even after-shaves. Know how you want to smell Making perfumes would be a lot easier if you know what you want to smell like. Do you prefer to smell soft? Do you want to exude a scent that expresses strength? Do you prefer to smell sweet? Etc. List all the necessary ingredients When starting to create a scent for your own home-made perfume, it is vital that you make a complete list of all the ingredients you are to use. When creating this list, keep in mind the ingredients you want to add to your own perfume recipe. However, if you already have an existing recipe that you intend to follow, experimenting with creating a perfume is no longer necessary. You could add or subtract as you will, adjusting the ingredients based on your own personal preferences. Experiment, experiment, experiment The creation of exotic perfumes requires a lot of experimentation. Do not be afraid to create and re-create as according to your own will and whim. Believe it or not, the making of perfume is considered an art in its own right. Imagination and creativity is always a necessity. One of the main ingredients of perfume-making is the use of essential exotic oils that come from plants, – both non-organic and organic pure alcohol as well as water. Believe it or not, there are actually three oil types which could influence the smell of ones perfume. The oil base notes are those kinds of scent that will most probably stay on the skin the longest. For this reason, this is usually added first in the perfume mixture. The oil middle notes meanwhile stay long also on the skin, though the oil base notes stay the longer. Meanwhile, the oil top notes provide the a more specific perfume scent when applied. Usually, the oil top notes are added to the perfume mix just after the oil middle notes. It could be followed by other substances in order to bridge the various scents. The following are the more accessible oils which could lead to your very own dream scent. The base notes are basically composed of vanilla, sandal wood, cinnamon, lichens, mosses, ferns. Meanwhile, the middle notes consists of neroli, lemongrass, ylang-ylang, geranium. The top notes are composed of rose, orchid, bergamot, lemon, lavender, lime. All in all, making your own perfume should be fun, and so make it one. Sheila Hensen and Scott Ford, hobbyists and freelance writers for the perfume industry, have combined to bring together the best tips on making your own perfumes at home for fun and profit: Check it out at: http://makeperfumes.com/tips.html Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Sheila_Hensen http://EzineArticles.com/?Your-Own-Perfume-Made-Easy&id=325719 payday loans with no teletrack and no credit check personal loan secured with electronic equipment free paycheck programs no credit check apartment in anne arundel county

Do I Have to Provide a Salary History?

By Angela Betts Often you see job postings with a request such as Send resume with salary history to I dont know about you but the first thing that pops into my mind is what do they expect to pay? The next question I ponder is whether or not its legal to request this information. Who will see my salary history when my resume and accompanying documents are received? Will it be the hiring manager, someone in the human resources department, or will it be a notoriously nosy employee whose job it is to open the mail? Will that individual broadcast my confidential information to other employees? Some employers use this tactic to save themselves time and weed out applicants that expect more than they are willing to pay or, based on their view of your past compensation, dont appear to have the skills or experience necessary. The keyword in the second statement of the preceding sentence is appear. You may very well have deserved better, but for whatever reason you may not have been compensated as well as you should have been. Unfortunately, it isnt illegal for employers to ask for a salary history even though your income is a highly confidential matter. Therefore, you need to develop a plan to deal with the ones that expect it or worse, require it. That plan should include a method to address the issue without revealing too much information to just anybody that may have access to your job search documents. The first thing to do is determine how crucial an opportunity is to you. If you are in a position to be choosy with job opportunities, dont waste your time and energy. Some postings will warn you that if you dont send your salary history with your resume you will be cast into file 13. Ignore the job postings that require it and move on to the next opportunity. If the job appears to be a very lucrative prospect for you and you believe you absolutely must give it a shot or if you cant afford to pass up the chance at the opportunity, you can turn the tables on them and use this to your advantage to screen them, too. Secondly, if you dont already know how much you should expect to be compensated you should do some research before applying. Do a search for salary wizards on any of the search engines to locate wizards. You will find salary wizards that will provide a low to high range of compensation for different professions and positions based on experience levels and geographical locations. Some of them include information about benefits and perks as well as monetary compensation. Most employers have done their own research and know the ranges for the geographical area where they are located. Respond to the request for your salary history in your cover letter after highlighting the benefits of hiring you. Instead of detailing what you were compensated by past employers, address the issue by including a statement indicating your expected salary. Use general numbers such as mid 50s without giving a top or bottom range, i.e. 50 to 60k annually. You dont want to state a range because it could still limit your ability to negotiate. You want to leave the door open to be able to negotiate monetary compensation as well as other benefits and perks. If you dont hear from them, move on and dont stress over it because most likely they didnt intend to pay what you need or expect. You have succeeded in turning the tables and making sure you didnt waste your time and energy on a job less than favorable to you. If you do hear from them, be prepared to negotiate for compensation that will be reasonable for you and the employer. Should You Have a Big or Small Wedding?

By Fernando Bellingham Once you have decided to get married, you will have a lot of decisions to make about the wedding ceremony. The first is whether it should be big or small. A wedding ceremony is one of those events that have always been steeped in tradition. In the classic version, all the people that are important are invited. On top of that, all the people in your extended family are also invited. This includes all such people for both the groom and the bride. Once you put it all together, you can be looking at a wedding with 200 people or more. This can result in a wonderful celebration of your bond, but it has some downsides. A wedding with over 200 people is going to be expensive. If you doubt this, take a moment to consider the simple cost of feeding 200 people at the reception. Now also take into account the size and cost of the location for the ceremony. How about the reception? Simply put, it can quickly add up. The total cost of a wedding of this size can easily come in at $50,000 or more. Obviously, you can trim here and there when planning it, but you should still expect a significant expense. One step more and more couples are taking is to forgo the traditional wedding. The thought of spending so much money on a one day event is simply too much. Instead, the couples usually look to more practical uses for the money in their new life together. The primary practicality is using the money for a down payment on a new home where they can live and start accumulating wealth as the home grows in value. So, what is the correct choice? Well, it depends on your personal taste. For some couples, the wedding represents the most glorious day of their lives and they want the celebration to be the ultimate representation of their commitment to each other. For others, a more subtle celebration is enough with the purchase of a home being a better way to get their life together off on the right foot. At the end of the day, the decision is really yours to make. If you want a big wedding, then do it. If you prefer to use the money in other ways, go ahead. As long as you both are happy with your decision, it is the right answer. Fernando Bellingham is with Wedding Yeti – a directory of wedding photographers and other wedding resources.
